My summer finished with a trip to Paris, where I visited the Interior Design fair "Maison et Objet" another very inspiring trip to get top-level insights into the latest design trends. The summer is now coming to an end and it now won't be long before the fresh cool vibes of autumn completely change the world outside. Trends of autumn will certainly be incomplete without the warm colours that enrich the season. From sandy yellows to burnt orange, trends this year focus upon dark, earthy tones that instantly connect with nature. Making a strong appearance this year, a rich deep shade of green can add a soothing and refreshing touch to your home. The colour scheme paired with jute rugs and woollen throw can vouch for an utterly warm and cosy space. So the interior design trend can effortlessly add to the beauty and comfort of your home.

Dried leaves and flowers can instantly bring seasonal vibes to your home. Reflecting the true beauty of autumn, dried flowers can serve as a charming and elegant display. Also, it remains a hassle-free and convenient option, for as opposed to fresh flowers, dry ones can survive for months. So this interior design trend definitely supports a more sustainable decor solution. It also connects us with the mystical aura of autumn. To fully extend the season into your home pair the dried flowers with rustic decor. Displayed in wicker baskets and wooden bowls, the decor can truly enhance the raw and rustic feel of autumn.

Autumn tends to be the perfect time to embrace a maximalist interior space. Vouching for added comfort, a maximalist space can certainly add a touch of warmth to your cold autumn nights. Here, one of the most popular maximalist trends remains, "Grand Millennial." Bringing homey comfort to any space, the style allows you to layer upon fabrics to create an ultimately cosy space. Yet the highlight of the style remains vintage accessories and antiques that can recreate nostalgia from the past. So grand millennial style can comfort us both physically and emotionally, to create a more wholesome living experience this autumn.
Autumn trends this year are all about making your stay at home comfortable. Borrowing colours and textures from the season itself, the trends allow you to prep for the cool weather in autumn.
