Virtual Design is exactly what it sounds like, interior design services offered online.
The demand for online design services has skyrocketed, because Virtual Design allows clients to access design services remotely from anywhere, eliminating the need for in-person meetings, and as people become more comfortable with online interactions and virtual services, e-design is now considered a viable option for Interior Design needs.
Thanks to technology and the digital age, interior design services can now be completed without a designer even having to set foot in your home. Virtual Design is a laid-back design process, with a quicker turnaround time than traditional interior design.
With this service, I am able to offer an alternative to my traditional in-person Interior Design.

The process is simple. All steps are taken from where you and your computer are! We gather information from you to learn what you envision for your space, and then we create a beautiful and functional custom design plan for you that serves as a do-it-yourself guide to create the space yourself. With Virtual Design, you can tackle the design of your home one space at a time, at your own pace, and as your budget allows!
Virtual Design is perfect for clients who want a design direction and designer expertise, but don’t mind doing a little legwork to prepare, manage, and implement the project themselves.
How does Virtual Design Work?

Consultation: The process begins with an initial consultation between the designer and the client. This can be done through email, video conferencing, or an online questionnaire. During this phase, the designer gathers information about the client's preferences, style, budget, and project requirements.

Design Concept Development: Based on the information gathered, the designer creates a design concept or mood board. This may include colour schemes, furniture styles, materials, and other visual elements to give the client a sense of the proposed design direction.

Space Planning: The designer assesses the client's space and develops a floor plan or layout that optimizes the functionality and flow of the room. This may involve arranging furniture, determining traffic patterns, and considering any architectural constraints.

Product Selection: Using the client's input and design preferences, the designer curates a selection of furniture, fixtures, accessories, and materials that align with the design concept. These products are typically sourced from online retailers.

Design Presentation: The designer presents the finalised design to the client, usually in the form of a digital presentation pack or a virtual walkthrough. This includes visual renderings, product recommendations, and any additional information necessary for the client to visualise the design concept.

Design Refinement: The client provides feedback on the presented design, and the designer makes revisions as needed. If the client needs more revisions, this back-and-forth process continues until the client is satisfied with the final design.

Design Implementation: Once the design is approved, the client receives a detailed design plan and instructions for executing the design. This may include purchasing recommended products, arranging furniture, and implementing any suggested changes, these steps the client can execute in their time frame and pace!

Follow-up Support: Our e-design services include post-design support, where the designer offers guidance and answers questions during the implementation phase. This can be done through email, phone calls, or online platforms.

What makes Virtual Interior Design great?
Personalised design solutions from the comfort of your home. You will receive a design plan that is tailored specifically to you and your home based on your design needs and style. The content of your design plan will vary depending on which design bundle you purchase.
Virtual Design provides great opportunities for you, to do some things yourself. You’ll take photos and measurements of your home to share with your designer before the project and provide them with some examples of your inspiration for your home. After your design is complete, you’ll follow the provided images, floor plans, and/or shopping lists to purchase your items and set up your space, with no pressure timeline. It's entirely up to you whether you want to order everything at once or buy your items over time.
Is Virtual Interior Design right for me?
All correspondence for your project will be conducted virtually–either by phone or email. With that being said, we want you to enjoy the design experience so we are available to answer any questions you may have throughout the entire design process. We are also available to answer questions once you begin to actually implement your design.
Completely Online/Virtual
You’re comfortable only communicating virtually. You know how to text/email/call/video chat to communicate with your designer.
You don’t mind a little DIY. You can measure your space accurately (Know that I provide a detailed guide!), take photographs, have no problem shopping, and can set up your space on your own. You don’t have to be a pro, you just have to know how to follow directions!)
